In contrast to Terminals 1 and 3, Terminal 2 somewhat lacks facilities, and this is no different when it comes to Lounges. The Dubai Airport Lounge in Terminal 2 is provided by Marhaba, a company that provides meet and greet services and also airport lounges at some of the airports in the Middle East.
Dubai is no exception and Marhaba have a few lounges in Dubai with one of them being located in Terminal 2. The lounge is located after immigration, opposite the duty free shopping area.
Prices are not cheap though. They are basically double what you would pay at terminal 1 or 3 in Dubai at $41 for 2 hours in the terminal 2 lounge ($20.5 per hour), while at the other two terminals you’re looking at around $48 for 4 hours ($12 per hour). Unfortunately the lack of other service providers and the few facilities available at this terminal the prices have been inflated.
The facilities include the usual computers, internet, fax and telephone services as well as buffet foods, but there are no showers unlike at the larger 2 terminals. The lounge is accessible to passengers traveling in any class, so economy passengers as well as business class passengers are able to purchase the services of the lounge.
It’s best to book at least 24 hours prior to arrival as prices for short notice bookings can be higher.
If you’re looking for a longer stay, you may prefer to stay in the Dubai International Hotel which is located airside at Terminals 1 and 3.
