There is official onsite valet parking at Gatwick for people that want speedy access to check-in, are travelling with families or have a large amount of luggage.

Secure valet parking is around £50 per day but you can get it a bit cheaper if you book well in advance. Some of the hotels at Gatwick, like Sofitel at the North Terminal, also offer Gatwick Airport valet parking as part of their services.

Other Parking at Gatwick Airport

Summer Special Parking at Gatwick North Terminal

Between Easter and October summer parking rates are offered at the North Terminal with dedicated bays for holidaymakers away for more than a few days. A five minute bus ride will get you to the airport on time. Pre-booking online is necessary for this special.

Evening Special Parking at Gatwick South Terminal

Those with evening flights to or from Gatwick or picking up passengers, can enjoy cheaper evening rates at the short stay car park at the South Terminal. This caters for people arriving at Gatwick with time to kill and who want to go into London for the evening, plus the Gatwick Express leaves from this terminal. You need to book this special in advance online.

Cheap Parking at Gatwick 

If you prefer the cost of your parking not to eat into your holiday budget then check out Purple Parking Gatwick. An option for cheap parking near Gatwick, Purple Parking offer a Park & Ride facility where you can drive to the depot which is less than three miles to the airport, then catch a shuttle the rest of the way. They offer a membership deal whereby the more you use them the more you save. Prices for the Park & Ride are from £12.99 per day.

Alternatively they also have meet and greet service which is more expensive, but more convenient from £34 per day. You drive directly to the airport and a representative transfers it to a secure car park, and when you come back your car is delivered to you soon after you call them. Note that there is an additional £6 charge for the access fee for all Meet & Greet operators, but Purple Parking’s prices are competitive with other Meet & Greet companies.

Sometimes a Park & Fly package can be more cost effective if you’re staying in one of the hotels near Gatwick Airport.

Parking at Gatwick Airport

Gatwick Airport short stay parking has no minimum stay, so it’s the best option for those picking up or dropping off passengers. The ‘short stay’ period can be up to four days in length, so ideal if you’re just away for a long weekend. If you decide to extend your trip, for any days over the four day period you’ll pay £35 per day.

Just a two minute walk to the terminals, it is located in a multi-storey car park and is a secure, self-parking option if you’re only away for a few days and don’t want to hand your keys over to anyone.

Long stay parking is the cheaper choice at £20.00 per day and £15 for subsequent days. There is a five minute shuttle bus ride to the airport every ten minutes. Valet parking and Premium self parking (large parking bays, same level terminal access) are the closest to the airport and therefore the most convenient but they are the most expensive options.
